Airbnb Wifi Extender Options (6,800 sq ft.)

Hello!

I am a property manager for a 6,800 sq. ft. Airbnb property.

I have been working with different wifi pods/extenders to help increase connectivity and speed for my guests.

These have not been working. I talked with my internet provider and they recommended I look into Orbi. I have never used a system like this before, but I am willing to try it.

I bought a Whole Home Wifi System, Tri-band Wifi. Comes with one router and two satellites. But now I need to know what is recommended if I was to buy multiple extenders, or satelittes.

I do need to buy more satellites.

Thanks!

    options that are compatible?

    RBS20

    RBW30

    RBS40

    RBS40V (with voice)

    RBS50

    RBS50Y (outdoor)

    All of them would work.

    Something to keep in mind though is the 50 series has a 1733mbps backhaul. The lower series (40 and under) use a slower 866mbps backhaul. So if you buy and use those and are daisy chaining, make sure they're at the end of the chain so they don't create a bottleneck.

    what I mean is go:

    rbr50----->rbs50------>rbs/rbs40 and under

    dont' go:

    rbr50---->rbs20------>rbs50

    The versions with the 866mbps backhaul still work great but its just something to keep in mind if you're daisy chaining satellites.

      And thats if you have the RBK53 kit. I was assuming that because you had it in the signature/device line.

        Hello! We currently have one RBK23 router and two RBS20 satellites.

        These have worked for a while, but we would still get dead spots around the property.

        In this image it shows the property. We have 8 units total. I have the router (red spot) in Unit 1, and satellites (also red spots) in Unit 5&8.
