Brand new Samsung S6 Smartphone will not communicate with WN3000RP
I have 2 other devices, a notebook and another android that communicate just fine, but my brand new S6 will not hook up to the extender. I have reset the modem, the extender, and the phone itself. I have told my phone to "forget" that particular connection and have re-set it up to no avail. When I try to connect, it says "connecting" for a minute or so then it tries again, and then finally it says "failed to obtain IP address."

- I would not know how to set a static IP on my S6. How would I do that?
- Can you set a static IP on your S6 in range with the extender's IP.
- Yes, it works on different wireless networks. The only network is does not work on is the network offered through the extender.
- Does it work on a different wireless network?
