cannot access WN2000RPT setup wizard from Windows 10 pc
It was working perfectly until today then suddenly it stopped connecting to my router. My phone connects to the WN2000RPT but it says "connected no internet". My phone connects to my router with good internet connection.
I have tried
1. searching for mywifiext and 192.168.1.250 on my PC but neither could be found
2. resetting the WN2000RPT with a paperclip
3. turning everything off and on again
4. connecting the WN2000RPT with an ethernet cable directly to my PC
Nothing works!

that's not correct. When you're setting up the extender, the device you're using to set it up with (the pc) should ONLY be connected to the extender. either via wifi or ethernet. It should not be connected to the router or it defaults back to that connection.

when you reset with paperclip, did you push and hold reset for 7--15 seconds while powered on?
And what did the led's do?

Yes - I held the paperclip in for a good 30 seconds.
The central green led first turned steady orange then it flashed regularly orange until I released the paperclip. Then it went out completely for several seconds. Then it came on steady orange. Then after several more seconds it reverted to steady green.
according to the led's, its booted up normally.
If you do a wireless scan after the reboot do you see the netgear_ext ssid?
