Cannot connect WN3000RPv3 to Netgear AC1750 R6300v2 router

I never got the Router Link LED to show any color after I successfully setup the new _EXT network. Do I need to worry about Microsoft's firewall manager?

  • I keep getting error messages when trying to conect my WN3000RPv3 to the standard issued Sky router.  I have went to the extent of changing the router (new).   I have went back to the factory setting Netgear extender and started from the begining, disabled firewall etc but still get  error messages i.e 404 file directory can not be found.    i have been working at it for approx' 3 days off and on.    if it does not start working  ----GOES to  rubbish BIN

    Is your R6300v2 running the latest firmware? http://support.netgear.com/product/R6300v2

    Please also try a factory reset for the WN3000RPv3.

    Can you please provide more details on the error that you are receiving? Is this error showing when you access the webpage to setup the WN3000RPv3?
