can't see WiFi network NETGEAR_EXT when setting up AX1800 WiFi 6 4 Stream Mesh Extender
Hello! I am trying to install my AX1800 WiFi 6 4 Stream Mesh Extender and I am unable to see the WiFi network NETGEAR_EXT on either my Android nor my computer. The Extender is plugged into the router via an ethernet cable, both router and Extender's power is on. I have cold booted all devices a couple of times but I cannot seem to get the NETGEAR_EXT network to appear. Any suggestions?

Did you click the wps button at all? if so, it sets it up with a mesh network (meaning it uses the same ssid as the router).
also, are you planning on leaving it hardwired into the router? If so, you'll want to set it up in access point mode.
What I'd do? Start over. Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while powered on. That should get you back to stock. have it unplgged from the router. Go through your setup. IF you're planning on leaving it hardwired in, then set it up in access point mode. IF you plan on using it as an extender (not hardwired in), then use extender mode.
