Connecting a Netgear N300 Wi-Fi Expander to an AT&T Modem/Router Combo

I cannot connect my wi-fi expander to my network. I have an AT&T modem/router combo and am getting an error screen. Also, I tried with an Ethernet cable and it did not change. See pics below...

    Have you tried to factory reset the extender and try the setup again?
