Connectivity Issues with EX7000

I keep running into issues with my EX7000 when connected via Lan.
Whenever i boot up my PC (Win10) I seem to not be connected to the Internet. Logging into the Extender shows both 2.4 and 5 GHz
connected to the router. Giving the Extender a quick reboot resolves this, but is just tedious for such a pricy product.
I set it up just like the manual had me do, in the next room where the router is and over WPS (also tried it with the Smart Setup but i keep running into the same dilemma).
Everything is running on the current Firmware V1.0.1.90_1.0.156

Cheers for any help and stay safe

what router are you connected to?
Have you tried setting the extender with a static IP address from your router?

You've tried installing it using the installation assistant? (instead of wps)

Terminology: A "static" address is configured on the device itself.
What you configure on a (DHCP server on a) router is a reserved dynamic
      address, not a static address.

If it's "from your router", then it's a reserved dynamic address, not
      a "static" address.

Yes I did try using the installation assistant as well, but sadly end up with the same result.
When it comes to setting a static IP i gotta be honest that i dont really know much about managing my own network so I ll try to read into that when i have the time.
As for the router, its just a generic base router I got from the ISP here in Germany, no aftermarket product.
