Daisy Chaining
Looking for knowledge before I attempt the install. Looking to boost our wifi purchased two routers:
- NETGEAR Nighthawk X6S AC3600 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Router
- NETGEAR - Nighthawk X4S Dual-Band AC2600 Router with 32 x 8 DOCSIS
I want to daisy chain them together to get long range wifi and do no know the first step...
- Will this actually be a good set for fiber in a 3100 sqft home? I have the ability to take the 2600 back and get two 3600...
- If I keep the current set up, should I use the AC3600 as the base and have AC2600 as the extender?
- Is there a step by step doc or tutorial on how to accomplish this goal?
Thank you for help ahead of time!

actual model numbers help.
but if ones a combo device, you need to go combo device------router (in ap mode)
best bet is to hardwire them together.

you're doing it with a hardwired connection?
if so, setup the first router as you normally would and then set the 2nd router up in access point mode.
