Daisy Chaining

Question

Looking for knowledge before I attempt the install. Looking to boost our wifi purchased two routers:

NETGEAR Nighthawk X6S AC3600 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Router
NETGEAR - Nighthawk X4S Dual-Band AC2600 Router with 32 x 8 DOCSIS

I want to daisy chain them together to get long range wifi and do no know the first step...

Will this actually be a good set for fiber in a 3100 sqft home? I have the ability to take the 2600 back and get two 3600...
If I keep the current set up, should I use the AC3600 as the base and have AC2600 as the extender?
Is there a step by step doc or tutorial on how to accomplish this goal?

actual model numbers help.&nbsp;but if ones a combo device, you need to go combo device------router (in ap mode)best bet is to hardwire them together.&nbsp;

you're doing it with a hardwired connection?&nbsp;if so, setup the first router as you normally would and then set the 2nd router up in access point mode.&nbsp;

ok awesome ideally i would to seperate them and connect by wifi to extend range&nbsp;

then you'd want an actual range extender and not 2 routers. get the one router and a triband extender that does mesh and you'll be better suited than buying 2x routers.&nbsp;you'd be better off to look at mesh systems as they're more easily expandable and usually cheaper than buying a router and a range extender. especially since amazon has been running refurb/renewed specials lately.&nbsp;
