DHCP not working when connected to 5Ghz on EX7000 extender

i have the same problem, plus another. My TV had no problem getting an IP address through dhcp via the EX7000, but none of my iDevices will get a DHCP assigned address. They will access the internet when assigned a static ip.
everything else on my network works flawlessly. Suggestions?

I spent a while running tests in this issue.
I do not have a solution but I isolated the issu e more
- if I setup fast lane 2.4g to 5.1g on the extender, i have no issues getting an IP address. Same if I reverse the frequency bands. Thus it is not an issue with the radios configuration, interference, blocking of protocol. It really has to do with running dual band extension.
Next step of investigation would be running wireshark and capture dhcp traffic and see where it fails. That could provide interesting info to the source of the issue, but not a fix.
