DIRECTV cannot connect to N750 Extender

Hi, I have a NETGEAR N750 WIFI Range Extender and everything in my home connects to it perfectly except for my DirecTV Cinema Connection Kit. (CCK). It finds the the extender in the network list but cannot connect to it. DirecTV came out and said their equipment doesn't connect to extenders. So my question is, is there a setting on the N750 that I could tweak to make it work with DirecTV? Thanks so much. FYI, my main router is too far away and I can't get it closer to the CCK. Thanks.

    Does the CCK have options for setting IP data manually, if so that might work for you?

    Thanks alot. Yes, it does actually have a place to update IP manually with 4 boxes next to it. What would I enter there? The IP addresses from the Extender or?

    I did it and it works! Only had to change one number! You're a genius. I hope this helps other people with this problem. Thanks again!

    No, that would be you, I only pointed you in the right direction, you worked out what to do. Anyway this is really a work-around (might turn out to be a permanent one), the root cause would be good to know but might not be worth the effort of tracking down.

    Hi I'm new to this so I hope this is ok - its a new but related question - same issue I have just purchased Chromecast and want to use it with my EX6100 extender - I did the set up but it could not connect - what do I need to do?
