Disable 2.4 Ghz network
I have a Nighthawk MR60 system.
I would like to disable the 2.4 Ghz network.
I followed the following steps, but was unable to locate where I can disable the 2.4 GHz network.
Log in to the router using the router's web interface:
Open a web browser on a device connected to the router's network
Go to www.routerlogin.net
Enter the router's username and password
Select the Advanced tab
Select Advanced Setup
Select Wireless Settings

I know you can separate them out but I don't think you can entirely disable it.
Why are you trying to do this?
- I have a Chromecast that keeps jumping to the 2.4 GHz channel. And it doesn't perform well on the 2.4 gigahertz channel so I want to disable it so it only connects to the 5 GHz
- What does separate them out mean
You can set the 2.4ghz and the 5ghz with separate ssid's on that specific model.
