DNS problems with ATT UVERSE and EX 7000 extender
I got this extender because an ATT installation tech recommended that I get an extender for better WiFi coverage in a large home.
I have had issues with dropped connections before but more recently it is some websites cant be loaded and others can. I think it may be a problem with ATT DNS servers. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you solve it? We do have a lot of wireless devices in the house if that makes a difference. Cell phones, tablets, Wifi TVs, xboxes, several PC's. Recently added 2 new Windows 10 PC's but this had started happening frequently on my Windows 7 PC's also.

If you suspect DNS, then you can set the DNS servers used in your router to use public DNS servers instead of using AT&T's.
Some options for public DNS are
IP address 1.1.1.1 (hosted by CloudFlare)
IP address 8.8.8.8 (hosted by Google)
IP address 8.8.4.4 (hosted by Google).
It's good to list two if the router lets you - perhaps Cloudflare and one of the Google ones.

You can't change or add DNS servers to the AT&T Uverse router/modem. I have the same DNS issues.
