Your repeater changes your MAC address to a virtual MAC address when it repeats your packet...
If you go into the mywifiext.net interface, then select MAINTENANCE->ATTACHED DEVICES You can see the new mac address it has assigned to your computer. You need to add this MAC address to your home wifeless router access list so it accepts the repeated packets..
It will start with 02:XX:XX:XX:XX
Probably why it's working intermittently is that it's not actually using the repeater at all, but going direct. This Virtual Mac issue is buried somewhere in the user manual I think, but they should put a sticker on the router itself explaining this behavior!
