Dual band Access Point suggestions
Hello
I am new to the community, have looked through some of the discussions but have not found anything to help with my issues.
my apartment is large 7 rooms in approx 2000 square feet. with all the walls my WiFi is always buffering when trying to stream and most times just dropping at far end of the house.
I have solved the buffering problem by running a cable and direct connecting the TV to a data switch. where i have a wnhde111-100nas setup as an AP this has solved all problems at this end of the house
the other wnhde111-100nas is set up as a bridge at the other end of the house but doesnt have enough strength to power mulitple ipads at the same time let alone stream anything.
my question would be 2 fold I guess
1. can connect a cable to the bridge unit and reprogram the bridge unit as an AP using the same SSID as the other?
2. if not what would be the suggested netgear AP that i could purchase and install as 2 AP's under the same SSID and password.
I am not using a wireless router i am using a netgear FVS336G-300NAS for routing so my WiFi is independant of the router.
thanks for your help

Hello gig1029
Most of our extender have a ethernet connection that you can connect your bridge to and program them as APs you can also use any of our nighthawk routers to do this as well they can be used as APs. In AP mode you will be able to use the same SSID.
