Eax20 extender won’t work with frontier communications router
Anyone know why. My linksys extender works but not netgears.

Where does it fail in the process?
Does not work doesn't tell us much.
Did you set it up using the push button WPS option?
If so, factory reset the extender and set it up using the installation assistant.
To factory reset, push and hold the reset button for 7-15 seconds while powered on.

Register an account (or login) and then the device.
From there you can start the support process. Keep in mind that its only free for the first 90 days.Netgear said the frontier modem didn’t have enough security so the extender wouldn’t connect?
1. Most people don't actually contact netgear if they googled for a number. They get a scam site that sells firewalls/security.
2. What security is being used on the frontier router and what frontier router is it?
3. What happens when you attempt setup and what method of installing are you using?
