EX3700 Connecting Issue
Hi,
I am trying to set-up the SX3700 (AC750) through WEP. I get the blinking light on the extender and then go to my router (Motorola AC1900, Model MG7550) and press the WEP key. The extender blinking green light turns off after the 2 minutes but if does not connect. I do have Netgear_EXT in my listing of Network Connections but when I click on it, it shows no internet connection.
I have tried to go to https://www.mywifiext.com/ but my Make or Model Number is not there and I have no way to get to the link to manually set it up.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Dave
plemans I was able to get it to work but not on my PC. I connected to the Netgear website from my TV and it brought up the website and I was able to get 2.4 and 5.0 on to the router. All is good but there is still a problem with not being able to connect to https://www.mywifiext.com/.

which model do you have? you have 3 listed. ex3700 in the title, SX3700 in the body of it, and EX3110 in the signature.
Either way, I'd recommend hardwiring into the extender and running the installation assistant. Dont' use wps. It can create issues between different manufacturers.
whatever device you hardwire to the extender, disable its wifi so it doesn't default back to that connection during setup.

I was able to connect via hard wired to the EX3700. It only allowed me to do one connection but it is a dual band unit. I tried again to go to my wifiext .net (it won't allow me to put that in link format) but it won't allow me to connect to set-up screen. Any idea how I can set-up the 5G portion of this unit?
- KidjefAspirantNone of the above work whatsoever for me. What DID work after too much time spent on this is the following in my browser after connecting to the extender network :
192.168.1.250
