EX3800 cant go past login page

Hello

 

I installed this extender four month ago without any issue.

 

Now I moved to another house and I cant go past the login page

I tried to reset the password on the Netgear website, it works as I am logged in here now. But it doesnt reset the password of the EX3800 so I cant access the control pannel on http://www.mywifiext.net/

I try to answer the questions about losing the password but it doesnt work.

 

How can I contact support for them to reset this password / login?

  • Update:

    I tried to reset the extender to factory setting

    the extender restarted

    I went to http://www.mywifiext.net/ but it still asks me for my email and password

     

    My email is correct but not the password, I try to answer the questions about lost password again, but it says the answers are wrong.

     

    How can I reset this password please help me

      Make sure you are holding the reset button for 10+ seconds.

  • What IP address does you extender use on installation...

     

    If it's like the EX6100 192.168.1.250. You have to make sure the ROUTER DHCP maps up to 250. 

     

    My IP range stopped at 199... which caused the behavior you describe.
