EX6120 & AT&T Fiber Connection Issues

I'm similar connection issues as others with my EX6120 after I switched to an AT&T Fiber router. I follow all the instructions, it connects, I connect the various devices then after a certain amount of inactivity, it disconnects. I start the process all over again, it works then disconnects - this doesn't seem right, so should I reach out to AT&T or Negear?

Ok, I have my extender plugged in behind me in my office, so I've connected my HP that never leaves to it. The AT&T router is in the room next door about 15-18' away. After a period of time, if I put the computer to sleep or shut down, when I go back to start working on the laptop, the "device link LED" is not on, but the "router link LED" light is but my network doesn't show connected. Same thing happens when I try to connect my bedroom TV to the extender. I'm typing in my password every time, but network always recognizes the router and will connect.
