Ex6200

Hi,

Was wondering once you get all the green lights on both bands between router and extender, what happens if i want to plug it into another power socket away from the router where I want to place the extender? Will it lose it's info or do we go through the process again from where I want to place the extender?

    Welcome to the community!

     

    No, it will not lose the information once you have it setup unless you do a factory reset. However, please make sure that the new location of the extender still gets a good enough signal from the main router. Ideally, extenders are placed in between the router and the area where you want the signal to be extended.
