EX7000 Connections hang after Latest Firmware Update

After I upgraded the firmware on my AC1900/EX7000 Extender and Router, the extender will give out an IP and show my wifi enabled devices as connected, but anything connected to the Extender over http or ssh hangs whether I try to connect to the internet or to another device on the local LAN. If I power cycle the extender it works again for about 20 minutes. Any wifi connections directly to the Router (R7000) are fine.

It doesn't matter if I try to connect at 2.4 or 5GHz
R7000 - V1.0.9.26_10.2.31
EX7000 - V1.0.0.62_1.0.122

Are there any Logs anywhere, or tests that I can do on the EX7000 to see what's going on?

Any help is GREATLY Appreciated.

    Hi akak,

    Welcome to the community!

Please make sure that a factory reset is done on both the router and the extender after the firmware update.

Is it ok to backup the configurations first and restore them after the factory reset, or do I have to make manual notes of the configurations and try to input everything back?

      Hi akak,

If you have just updated the firmware before the factory reset, we recommend reconfiguring all the settings instead of restoring from backup to make sure that there are no issues/incompatibilities that may arise from a config of a different firmware version.

Thanks. The issue was resolved after restoring the Extender back to the factory default and manually configuring the settings back to what they were. I didn't have to do the same to the router, thankfully.

        Thanks again.
