EX7000 Extender 2.4 ghz maximum output

How could I achieve maximum output for the 2.4Ghz band? No matter what I do I am getting 217 Mbps.  Should I use a Netgear router to achieve the maximum output speed? Right now I am using a Xfinity Router from Comcast. I need better speed on this band because I have 4 outdoors wireless cameras with voice so I need the 600 Mbps on this band. The cameras does work on the 5 Ghz band which is giving me a full 1300 Mbps capable speed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • I am sorry, I should have said it does not work with 5Ghz, the cameras works only on 2.4Ghz.

      Hello Tony2360

The best way to get the full speed is if you can run a ethernet cord from your router to your extender and run it in AP mode.

If running an ethernet cable between router and the extender is not possible, what is the next best option to do?
