EX7000 ... probably a simple question here

This will probably be a very easy question for someone to answer. I bought an EX7000 AC1900 originally to use as a range extender but ended up not needing it for my original plan. Can it be used as a WiFi router? I would love to be able to replace my antiquated WDNR3400.

Not as a router but you can hardwire it into the wndr3400 and run the ex7000 in access point mode.

Then you could either use the wndr3400 as a backup wireless, as a way or reducing the load on the network, or even just disable its wireless.
