EX8000 won’t connect
My EX8000 range extender stopped working the day after my hardware warranty ran out...wtf! It will no longer connect or reset, so I have no way to try to fix it. Any suggestions?

What are all the leds doing?
Make sure when you're resetting it to push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while its powered on. I know I shouldn't need to say that but frequently we get people who just click the reset button. It has to be held.
Are you able to access or ping it?Potentially you could recover it via tftp. I've had to do it once with mine.
are you on windows? if so, follow this guide
https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP
just make sure you enable tftp

and here's a video walk through.

and if that doesn't work, you can try using nmrpflash

Another thing you can try is its default ip address if not connected back to the router is 192.168.1.250
you can try hardwiring into the extender and access it using that ip address.
- Thanks for the suggestions! I’m going to work on it tonight. When I reset, all the lights blink as normal, like it’s trying to connect, then it just goes to one solid light for the 2.5Ghz
So, as soon as I cabled directly to the computer a "new setup" screen came up and walked me through. Now it's working fine. Thanks again for your help!

Glad to hear you got it up and functional!
