Hello sschueller
I would suggest to try and factory reset the 2nd extender and try the setup again and if that is not working you could try the wps method of connecting it to the router.

Hi Thank you,
I did try to do the factory reset button. But that method still had the same results as the first try. And then our router does not have a wps button, so I was not able to try that method. Could this particular extender be faulty, as the other one works, but not this one? Or is the problem that one cannot use 2 extenders from the same router to extend in 2 different directions?

Hello sschueller
You can use 2 extenders but if you believe that maybe the extender is faulty and is still under warranty I would suggest contacting support as they would be able to RMA the extender if its having a issue.
