Extender constantly not connecting to main wifi unless I restart it

For some time now, my wifi extender has been regularly (Longest time I've gone between having a problem has been maybe three or so days) refusing to connect to the main wifi, and will only do so if I reset the device and go through setup again, or if I powercycle it. The wifi for it will show full bars in my taskbar, but if I connect to it, it gives me a yellow error tag, and says "no internet, secured"

I've checked to make sure that there's no firmware I need to download for it, and it is placed where it should be able to get a strong connection to wifi.

I only got this extender in 2015, so I really shouldn't be having to buy another one to replace this one, but it constantly dropping connection is just driving me nuts.

    Hello sopralto817

When doing the setup again have you tried to move it to the same room as the router then set it up then move it back to the place you had it?
