Extending wi-fi into a metal pole barn, Nighthawk AC1900 gets to window, but inside it drops
Looking for a suggestion for the best extender to get wi-fi from window into garage. (metal pole barn style). Decent signal at the window, inside it drops out. Anyone ever solve a sililar issue, Thank you in advance.

Maybe put the extender by the window on an extension cord.. I'd say put out outside but I don't think they are meant for outdoor weather.
Any chance of running an ethernet cable to the the garage?

Thank you for taking the time to answer. My old extender wouldn’t work with the new AC Nighthawk. So I went out to get an extender. Only place close is Walmart and they didn’t have the Netgear model and choices are slim this time of year, so I had to get a Linksys AC1200 RE6700. I put it inside, at the window hanging on an extension cord!! Great solution. It hooks up and covers the inside of the building and office.
It appears the frustration is over. Thank you very much for the reply.
