How to disable WPS

I have setup the 2500 and have it working fine.
I actually only want to use it for wired connections and want to disable the access point feature.
When I go into Advanced Wireless Settings and untick the boxes and hit apply, I get a message saying that a WPS process is in progress and to wait until it has completed.
I can't disable the wireless access point feature because every time I try i get this message.

I dont use WPS and didnt start a WPS process, so how do I get around this please??

  • This problem also stops you from changing the name of the SSID.
This is how you get around it:
Hit "Add WPS Client", this gives you a 2 minutes windows to add a client.
Once the 2 minute period starts, hit cancel.
Once the cancel is acknowledged, restart the box.
Login again and go to 'Advanced'
You can then disable or change the access point settings if you want.
Renaming the AP's is also now possible.
