I cannot find www.mywifiext.net

Hi,

 

I am trying to install my new range extender. I don't have WPS so I need need to setup my connection through the web. I can connect to the NETGEAR_EXT network, but am unable to open www.mywifiext.net - the server cannot be found. I am able access other web sites.

 

Is there another address I should be using?

    Hello bchwyl

     

    If you are able to access other websites when trying to do setup that means you didn't connect to the extender and you are still on your main wifi. If the extender you have has a ethernet port try connecting to it that way and use that address. If it still fails try to factory reset the extender.
