What modem/gateway do you have?
What router are you connecting it to?
What firmware is on the extender?
- jake_bAspirantI have a modem that is a netgear one, I don’t know which firmware it’s on and I’m connecting it to an asus router.

The firmware is found on the status page of the extender. If you did try installing using the installation assistant, you'd have seen it on that page. Did you actually try installing using the installation assistant?
