Installation_ Cannot claim base station during setup
The extender I bought was, unbeknownst to me, evidently returned by someone else, and I am locked out of the WiFi because it is still registered in their name. What can I do to reset this router so that I can connect with it?

You will need to get a pen or paper clip and hold the reset button on the device for 10+ seconds while it is powered on then you should be able to set it up.
