iPhone issue

I have an iPhone 7 and a Netgear EX 2700 extender. A couple of months ago I ran into a problem where I couldn’t connect my iPhone to the extender because it said the extender was paused. I started to wonder about the extender, even though no other electronics had issues with it. I tried a different brand of extender, but didn’t like that it didn’t show up on my Xfinity Network software. So I bought a new Netgear EX 2700 extender. All went well with the install, all other electronics connected, but my iPhone still won’t connect. Brand new hardware, still no connection, and only from my iPhone. I can’t find anything on my Xfinity network app to unpause, and they still can’t connect. Just my iPhone. Any ideas?

Thank you. I believe I have accidentally fixed the issue. I said to Forget the Network on my iPhone, and then reconnected, and all seems to be well. For the time being anyway!

It may have been "accidental" but it is actually one of those quick and simple tricks that should be at the top of any list of things to do when you have wifi connection problems. (The wifi equivalent of the "on/off" reboot.)

Pity we didn't suggest it sooner.

Glad it fixed things for you.
