It's on, BUT, No signal lights - No GHz lights

Hello,

For months now I have not been able to use my extender.  Doesn't matter what I do, it just doesn't work although, originally, it did.  I  reset the unit, I tried putting the unit right in front of the modem, I tried using an ethernet lead, I tried the WPS button - but no lights come on.  I thought that perhaps my new modem and the extender were no compatible so I took it to my neighbours and tried it on their modems and it just does the same thing.  When I log into myWiFiext.net, I get the message that it cannot access it.  Please help!

When you do the reset are you holding the reset button for 10 seconds while the extender is plugged in? And when you say you have no lights do you have a power light?

Hi, thank you for your response! Yes, the power is on but today following your response I held the reset button in once all the lights had turned off.  I didn't work so I tried again but this time I unplugged it first and reset it shortly after turning it on making sure I held the reset button in for a very long 10 seconds.  And it worked! Thank you so much, I wish I could send you cookies but my gratitude will be purely digital. Cheers!
