Lan Printer
Hi i bought the range extender, i want to connect a printer at the router, but the router is too far, so i bought a range extender where i want to connect the printer with a lan cable to the wifi range extender, how do I have to proceed?
The ssid is different now, i don' t need to use the wifi range, i just need to connect the printer!
May someone help me?
Thank you
A range extender works by bridging two SSIDs together: the main SSID broadcast by your router and the extender's own SSID. It also works by bridges its Ethernet port to the main SSID. Since you will be connecting your printer to the extender with Ethernet, the extender's own SSID is irrelevant as far as the printer is concerned. You can connect other wireless devices to the extender's SSID. They will behave as if they are connected to the main SSID.

Follow the setup process to join the extender to your existing Wi-Fi network. Then simply connect your printer to the extender's Ethernet jack. If necessary, set up the printer to use Ethernet.
