The extenders listed above are home products that are available through vendors such as Amazon.
The WN25000RP will not function properly when ethernet to router. However the extenders listed above will connect ethernet to router when set to access point.

The enclosure might work depending on thickness.
There are low and high tech ways of extending the reach of a wireless signal. You can try doing a web search for 'diy wifi antenna'. You'll find everything from using a Pringles can to building an antenna arrary. I posted some DIY links in this post recently.
Are you aware of Netgear being able to add a second wireless repeater/extender. I have the base router then the wireless repeater/Extender. Can I add a second repeater/extender to extend the signal even further? Second question - is there an atenna that uses Cat 5/RJ-45 that could be run from the repeater/extender to an atenna that I locate out side pointing to the pool area? Thanks
Chaining extenders/repeaters wirelessly is usually not recommended due to performance drop and, depending on the model, may not be possible. There are no antennas that use Cat 5/RJ-45. Even if you use proper antenna cable (like LMR-400), you wouldn't want to string the antenna too far from the extender because signal levels drop off very fast at Gigahertz radio frequencies.
Is your first extender wired into your router? If so, what you might be able to do is wire a second extender into the first extender via Cat 5. Then place the second extender in a location with good coverage of the pool area.
My NetGear Repeater/Extender (WN2500RP) is connected to my Base Router (NetGear N600 WNDR3400) via Wifi. If I could connect a second (2) Repeater/Extender (WN2500RP) via Cat 5 through one of the four ports provided on the first (1) Repeater/Extender that would be awesome. I could run about 50' of Cat 5 out onto my carport and put the second (2) Repeater/Extender in a plexi-glass box just inside the carport. That would place this Repeater/Extender within 75 ' of the pool area with direct sight.
Who could officially let me know if the second Repeater/Extender to be used this way? Would like to know before purchasing the second Netgear Repeater/Extender.
