MAC Addresses suffer bit flip
I seem to have a consistent issue where the RP flips the 2nd bit of the 1st octet of a MAC address in it's table.. This prevents communication with
upstream 2ghz router.
Problem does not not seem to occur on all MAC address patterns..
Example:
Actual server MAC 2500RP TABLE 2500 VIRTUAL MAC
------------------------- ------------------------------- ---------------------------
52:54:00:FE:1E:F6 50:54:00:FE:1E:F6 02:0F:B5:FE:1E:F6
Reproduce:
establish 2ghz uplink with AES encryption and 5ghz only repeater mode
set a machine to 52:54:00:FE:1E:F6, plug it into the ethernet port #1
My topology
Gateway ROUTER---> 2Ghz --> W2500RP --RJ45 port1-> Prosafe Plus ----> 52:54:00:FE:1E:F6
I am running with firmware version V1.0.0.30_1.0.58

- ulmerAspirantI have dumped the mac list from the RP, and it doesn't match the GUI.
I wasn't able to figure out how to diagnose where the MAC tables are
stored in your busybox yet....
