my extender came with a name
during set up, wireless network manager was unable to identify "netgear_ext". I tried several times scanning with a wireless computer and a tablet finally realizing that my extender was called "Mauric...
Mine didnt come with a name, but after 8 hours of my life spent trying to get it to work correctly its now got one - unfortunately I would be unable to type that name on this website as I would no doubt get barred, but it goes something like "~k+ng peice of $h7T"
