N300 Connecting to only 2.4GHz and not 5.0GHz

Question

Does anyone know how I am able to extend my 5.0GHz instead of 2.4GHz wifi signal? When I setup my wifi extender, it automatically extended the 2.4 only and does not give me an option to generate an extension of the 5.0GHz signal. Please advise.&nbsp;

Hi&nbsp;cameronswofford,&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Extender you have doesn't support 5GHz since it is single band. You may look for dual band extenders like EX6100, EX6150 which may help to extend both 2.4 and 5GHz.
