Connect your PC to the extender with a cable and visit http://mywifiext.net. This should bring up the login page for the extender. The defaults are admin and password. Once you are logged in, goto to the Wireless Settings and check the password. If it's different than what you expect, then change it. Then, try connecting a device to the _EXT network.

The extender should work with any router. There are 2 steps to setting it up:
- Connect the extender the router. You completed this.
- Set up the Wi-Fi network for the extender to broadcast. Once you connect the extender to the router, it will automatically create a Wi-Fi network with _EXT appended to the main router's Wi-Fi network name. The Wi-Fi password is the same. You can, later, change both the name and password by logging into the extender.

That really helped me. Thanked you very much, just have to find a spot and see if the signal is strong enough. Thank you again.

I have one more question. My router have two different types of connections, one with 2,4Hz and one with 5Hz. The _EXT one is on the 2,4Hz, how do I make the 5Hz extended?

You need a dual band extender. A N300 is a single band extender.
