N300 WiFi Range Extender Model EX2700

OK, So, I purchased the N300 WiFi Range Extender Model EX2700. I followed the instructions, and all the lights on the extender are showing the right colour. I can see the extended newtork on my laptop, and on my phone, however, I cannot connect to it as I have no idea what the password is! On page 8 of the manual, it states, The extender creates a new extended WiFi network. The extenders new WiFi network name is based on your existing WiFi network name with _EXT at the end of the name.

I can confirm that it has done this.

It then states - Use the same WiFi password that you use for your WiFi router.

This is not the case, as it just won't accept the current password.

I can't even get to mywifiext.net. I just get an error message saying the page cannot be found, which I guess means that it's connecting via the existing network router.

Do I need to reset the extender, or do I need to purchase an ethernet cable and connect to the extender that way? I only bought the extender so that our new TV could connect - Help would be appreciated

Try removing the network from the tablet in the tablets wifi settings then try connecting again.
