DId you try to use multiple web browsers?

  That box is auto generated whenever you select the network "netgear_ext".
  
  It isn't a web browser. Any attempt to use a web browser fails for it will say there is no internet connection.

    Have you tried the extender setup on a phone or tablet and see if you get the same results?
