Netgear EX2700-100PES - can not access http://www.mywifiext.net/

Once again a often asked question:

How to Acces the Admin-Interface of the (very good) working repeater.

Setup was no problem - works very good. But no Access to the management Interface:

I am definitely connected to the repeater.

No response with:

http://www.mywifiext.net/

http://192.168.1.250

#> nslookup www.mywifiext.net
Server: 192.168.10.1
Address: 192.168.10.1#53

Name: www.mywifiext.net
Address: 192.168.11.194

http://192.168.11.194

No response

My Networkconfig is

#inet Adresse:192.168.11.202 Bcast:192.168.11.202 Maske:255.255.255.255

So I am in the right subnet for 192.168.11.194

I used different Browsers on different OS (Android and Linux)

I am on a Campingplace without acces to the Wifi management - I can not see what the IP of my repeater is.

Such a shame: I don't have a network cable in my car.

So my question is: Is there a way to manage the repeater without cable and acces to the wifi/Router/DHCP...

Thank you for your help

Kind regards

Harald

    Hello Harald42

A cable would be the best way and if you do not know the ip address and can not access the router then no really good way to manage the device.

      Hello DarrenM,

      thank you for your answer.

I do not look for the "best way" or a "good way"

I accept the worst way  -  if it works.

      My new findings are.

All Clients in the network are seperated - no communication between the clients.

      nslookup www.mywifiext.net
      Server: 192.168.10.1
      Address: 192.168.10.1#53

      Name: www.mywifiext.net
      Address: 192.168.11.194

I believe that this is the right adress of the repeater. But there is no access because a firewall is blocking everything. This is a very common setup in public wlan infrastructures.

What is a way to the management Interface?
