Netgear ex6200 connects but not to the internet
My cable internet modem is downstairs in the left corner of the house. I bought 2 Netgear ex6200 so that I could place them where the upstairs right side to could get internet from one of them and othe left side could get internet access from the other one. If I have my PC downstairs and connect to the extenders, they work but I have tried moving them and other different things but I still can't get internet upstairs using the extenders. I am still pointing the Linksys router that is in my office which from upstairs is not the best signal. I bought these extenders because they said they were the best but right now I am getting real frustrated with them. I have reset them and started over but still doesn't nothing for upstairs. I had one of them upstairs but that didn't help so I have them both downstairs now.

Hello drrevans
When you have a extender plugged in upstairs is it getting any signal from the router or is it still really weak and then you cant get any connection from the extender? If its a signal issue and the wifi is still having issues you may want to look into power line extenders if you have a newer power lines in your home. The power line adapters will make all the outlet plugs in your home have internet connection so your able to get signal in any room with a outlet. This just depends on your homes electrical system but I have heard this working well for a lot of customers.
