Netgear WG602v4
I am to configure the device as an end point. The problem is when I go to attach to a network it wants me to specify the country. Well the country setting is grayed out, and I can't connect without it being populated. Is there a patch to fix this?

- BadWapAspirantI'm running IE8, I set the WAP up as a wireless cleint, do a site survey, when I try to connect to the network under wireless settings, the country/region settings are grayed out.
- jmizoguchiVirtuosoif you are joining other existing network using below then I don't think you have option to change. if you as an access point then under wireless setting it will let you

because you going the existing network so there is no reason to pick reason. only uses access point which broadcast the signal from the WG602 - BadWapAspirantThat doesn't make any sense. Why would you have a client mode then say don't use it. The firmware is broke.
- CalbearzAspirantI am having the same problem with a WG602V3. I am in AP mode and no matter what I do the country/region field is grayed out but the software still requires this field to have a value to apply any changes to any of the other fields. This is clearly a major error in this firmware.
Please fix this problem, I have 2 WG602V3 that exist in the same house and I need then to have different SSID.
Please fix! I have tried using IE and Chrome browser and there is no difference.

Contact support at my.netgear.com and tell support - CalbearzAspirantI have a WG602V3 I just upgraded the Firmware to V1.2.5NA and now I cannot change anything in the Wireless settings section. This due to the Country/Region field being grayed out! The software will not apply any changes without a value in the Country/Region field!
I need to change the SSID!
This is broken please fix!!
I am using EI8 and have tried Chrome browser to all shave the same problem. I am using AP mode. - PenryAspirantI am experiencing exactly the same problem today, whilst providing support to a relative who has received this router as a christmas present.
WG602v4 with firmware 1.1.0na
After a factory reset, it defaults to USA as it's Region. this is not changable on the wireless settings page.
i select "wireless bridging", choose "Client Mode" , click apply and wait for reboot.
on reboot it still states its region is USA, when i click "wireless settings" the Region then suddenly changes to "None" - and is not changable. On subsequent visits the Region field states "Select one" but is still not changable.
I've not yet been able to find alternative firmware to try to fix this bug if any is available.
