No Connection when SSID Broadcast is Off

I updated to firmwareV1.0.1.36_1.0.114. If I turn off SSID broadcast, I cannot connect my device. As soon as I turn SSID on, I can connect. Anyone else experience this?

    Sorry, above is my first post - I upgraded the EX6100 wifi network extender.  After the upgrade, I found that if I turn off broadcast SSID on the EX6100, my devices cannot connect, even though I had connected before with the EX6100 SSID broadcast turned on.

      Hi Pilot1,

       

      Please confirm that only the SSID broadcast is off, leave the radios on.

      Also on your computer, make sure these settings are checked

      If it is still not working, you can try factory resetting your device. The firmware upgrade might have changed your settings.

    Sorry tried all that and neither my android nor windows10 device can see the extender when SSID is off. When all I do is turn on SSID broadcast in the EX6100, the connection reappears in both android and windows machines.
