Old extender to new ATT air hub?
I'm trying to connect my old N300 (model EX2700) wifi extender to my new internet service. I've done the factory reset, but can't get it to recognize my new Hub.
Will I need to purchase a new extender?
Is this the ATT Air Hub that you have?

Yes, moving the Hub to the center of the space is a better solution than using an old WiFi extender.

Is WPA3 enabled on the ATT Air hub?
Doe the extender see the SSID coming from the hub?

It appears that the AT&T Air Hub supports WPS. Have you tried using WPS to connect the EX2700?

thank you for your resplies.
I believe I was using WPS, however I have no idea what that means or the other terms. There is nothing on the Hub except a reset button.
I'm trying now to move the hub closer to the middle of my home instead of it being at the far end. If that works, I won't need an extender.

That extender isn't just old (11 years and 4 generations of devices), its incredible slow. Unless you're connecting it to IoT devices, I'd get rid of it. It's ridiculously slow, and anything connected to it is going to perform horribly. Is it worth the fight to get it working if it's going to drag the network down?
