password issue for 2G and 5G
When I set up the extender, I accepted the default to use the existing router password for the 2G and 5G. I can access the 2G fine. When I try to access the 5G, i get an error message saying I have the wrong password. How can I fix this?
Hello davidinsantafe
Try to log back into the modem and change the 5ghz password.

thanks. That solved the problem.
The strange thing is that I accepted the default during the setup, which was to have the passwords for the original and the 2G and 5G be the same. What I discovered is somehow the password for the 5G had been changed so that the first letter was uppercase, rather than lower case. I had not entered this, so I'm not sure how it happened.
