My question to you would be this - what do you define as "wifi gateway"?
I have a rule - one network, one router - break it at your own risk. It's not that you can't have multiple routers in a single network, but, if you're going to do it, then you need to have a clear idea of what you're attempting, and that's where your problem is coming in.
You appear to be trying to extend the RV042's wired network wirelessly, and the device you need is a wireless access point, not a wireless router, and not a wireless gateway (whatever that is).
Here's what you need to do ...
1) Configure the WNR2000 so it's LAN address is 192.168.2.10 and disable the DHCP server
2) Connect the WNR2000 to the RV042 - LAN port to LAN port - do NOT use the WAN port on the WNR2000, leave it disconnected.
