Problem with setup for Model EX6120
My router has wps and after I plug in my extender and turn on the wps on the router and extender, the light on the router stays blinking and then turns off. It never stays green indicating the conne...
What are you trying to connect to what?
My router to the WIFI extender...
What wireless security do you have on the router? WEP won't work with WPS.
Are you doing it in the right order?
Any chance that WPS is disabled in the router?

It might be easier to do it with the web browser.
I think I am such a beginner, I don't know what I don't know. How do I connect my router to my computer or extender? Wireless security? WEP vs WPS? How do I know if my WPS is disabled? Would Comcast be able to help? they are my wifi provider? I called the technical support for Netgear and it will cost approximately $100. to provide technical assistance because I never called in the first 90 days. I feel like I should just throw the extended in the garbage... I have spent so many hours and have gotten nowhere.

It is pretty straightforward stuff.
You'll find out if WPS is enabled when you press the button on the router. If it flashes, it is on.
Be careful with pressing that button. "Press the button for about 5 to 10 seconds until the WiFi LED blinks amber."
