Problems EX3700 linking to Sky router
Router isn't yet connecting to EX3700 wifi extender without the ethernet cable being plugged in. Anything I can try? Cable currently trailing up the stairs. Devices connect to the extender successfully.

What sky router is it?
how are you attempting setup?
Using the installation assistant or using WPS?
What firmware is on the extender?
the sky router is er115 Q router i think
followed booklet instructions...not wps
extender used out of the box only got it today
have you tried setting it up using wps?
you can have the extender in the same room during setup (so you don't have to run the cable). then just move it where you want when its setup
