resetting extender after upgrading wireless router
We recently upgraded our wireless router, and now we cannot use the wifi extender (cannot log into that netword). How can I bring our existing extender into alignment with the new wireless situation?

The simplest approach is to set the router's wifi network to match the old one's network name and password. Then you wouldn't have had to change any of your clients or the extender.
Alternatively you can connect to the extender's wifi network, and then browse to www.mywifiext.net. Then modify the setup to connect to your new router network. If you have trouble getting that to work, then reset the extender with a paper clip and set it up again.
